Perspective is everything in life and AMA always offers up ways of gaining fresh insights that Monica uses to benefit the clients she works with. In addition, she finds that working from home, AMA events offer a great opportunity to get out and interact with people face-to-face.

When she is not crossing her fingers that the AMA newsletter deadline will be met, Monica works as a consultant with the Pivot Group, a company that provides marketing research and strategy for independent cooperative and commercial telephone companies. When asked about her life outside of AMA, she commented, “I have two young children and a husband which is another way of saying that I don’t do much outside of work, family, and AMA. When time permits I enjoy reading and scrap booking. I like to think that I am a closet graphic designer via scrap booking. A stretch I realize, but it is all about the spin, right?”
